QUESTIONS FROM JUDGES

If you have been selected as a Tasting or Design judge, you are due June 10.
If you have been seelected as a Food Pairing judge, you are due June 11.

June 10 (Tasting & Design)

8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Entrance and judges' check-in

9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. - Quick-alignment course and explanation for all judges Tasting & Design

9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. - Explanation of logistics (groups, spaces, tablets etc)

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Dedicated time for the challenge

1 p.m. to 2 p.m. - Lunch

2 p.m. onward - Dedicated time for the challenge.

June 11 (Food Pairing)

Judges' compensation can be made in three ways: invoice (in case of business owner), withholding tax (in case of private individual), sake bottles (while supplies last and shipped after the competition).

No. The bottles will be saved for the Sake Experience on September 22.

No. Only SSA Certified Sake Sommeliers are admitted to the Milano Sake Challenge.

Yes. From 1 to 2 p.m. there will be a lunch break at the Nhow hotel restaurant. If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know as soon as possible.

The environment will be cooled by air conditioners, to a temperature of about 20º. This is necessary to best preserve the characteristics of the most delicate sake. We recommend bringing sleeveless T-shirts for when needed.

The Sake Experience is Italy's largest sake event: admission is free and open to all. It will take place on September 22, 2024 at the Nhow hotel in Milan. We will open registration for the event shortly.
